intro

Hello friends.  This is my second attempt at a blog.  My first attempt went alright.  It started out as a discussion on the rent-seeking phenomenon of state tax breaks and incentives, but the focus on the original topic became diluted as time went by — I still plan on paying attention to state tax and development schemes, but I won’t do so as relatively often and, best of all, I won’t feel guilty because I won’t be writing about something besides the blog’s main subject.

This blog has no main subject.  God only knows where it will go.  Enjoy.
